GEN.G CONFIRM BNTET SIGNING

Gen.G have announced that they have completed their roster with the signing of Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand from TYLOO.

The Indonesian star has been added to the North American team on a permanent basis, joining the ex-Cloud9 trio of Timothy "autimatic" Ta, Damian "daps" Steele and Kenneth "koosta" Suen, and 17-year-old talent Sam "s0m" Oh, who was signed from Envy.

BnTeT ends a long association with TYLOO, who had recruited him from Recca in March of 2017. He averaged an impressive 1.16 rating on LAN while with the Chinese team to solidify his status as the best Asian player in Counter-Strike.

BnTeT will further his career in North America with Gen.G

The 24-year-old hopes that a new challenge in a different continent will reignite his career after a year in which TYLOO finished last at all but one of the six Big Events that they attended and failed to get out of the New Challengers Stage at both Majors.

BnTeT will take the roster spot that had been held by Hunter "SicK" Mims on a temporary basis. Although the team is set to play the IEM Katowice North America closed qualifier, BnTeT will play out the Asian closed qualifier at the same time (January 7-9) before joining his new squad in the United States.

Gen.G's full roster for 2020 looks as follows:

United States Timothy "autimatic" Ta
Canada Damian "daps" Steele
United States Kenneth "koosta" Suen
United States Sam "s0m" Oh
Indonesia Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand

Australia Chris "Elmapuddy" Tebbit (coach)
