MIBR have announced the signing of Argentine youngster Ignacio "meyern" Meyer, who will take Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles's spot on the roster.

MIBR completed the signing of 17-year-old meyern from Sharks ahead of cs_summit 5, as reported by HLTV and Globo Esporte earlier this month.

meyern will be taking over from LUCAS1 in MIBR's starting lineup, with the Brazilian player, who had initially arrived on a loan deal from Luminosity, having been released from his contract.

meyern has been on the rise since being featured in our "One for the future" series ahead of his first Big Event with Isurus, DreamHack Masters Dallas. Not long after the event in Texas he transferred to Brazilian side Sharks, where he was joined by fellow countryman Luca "Luken" Nadotti and played a season that concluded with participation at the ECS Season 8 Finals and the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.

The youngster has now made the jump to MIBR after a four-month stint with Sharks, and is set to play his first event with the top Brazilian side at the Summit Studios in Los Angeles, California.

With the addition of meyern, MIBR are now:

Brazil Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
Brazil Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
Brazil Epitacio "TACO" de Melo
Brazil Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe
Argentina Ignacio "meyern" Meyer

Brazil João "felps" Vasconcellos (substitute)

Brazil Wilton "zews" Prado (coach)
